Ed Allen Sighting

With the Leg District 10 race heating up, and only two months left to go.  It is no wonder that we are seeing lots of Ed Allen signs all over the neighborhood.  I have actually seen him on one or two walking campaigns over the past two weeks.  But the most interesting sighting I have seen, was this weekend.  The South Ogden LDS Stake held their annual 5k Fun Run on Saturday.  It is always a great event and very exciting.  My whole family participates every year and really enjoy the event.    At the beginning of the race they announced where the nurses station was, they also mentioned a doctor would be on hand if there was any problems.  The announcer quickly announced that Dr. Ed Allen was here.  That is strange.  Why is he here!  According to his voter profile on votesmart.org he lives at 4317 Fern Drive, which is not in the South Ogden Stake; infact that would put him in the Weber Heights Stake.  Was he invited to attend by someone?  Also isn't he a dermotologist?  I might break out in a rash from sweating but I think I can handle it.  Well Mr. Allen spent most of the time behind the time keepers table.  He messed up putting peoples times in the correct order and we all had to go back and personally put them in the correct order.

Thanks for the visit to our stake Mr. Allen, I hope it won you a vote or two.  Gotta love campaigining at church events.

I think there are a number of Mormon or LDS democrats that believe in the party platform as far is it is translated correctly.

Are you guys REALLY this shallow? I can't believe YOU admit YOU are a Mormon! Your favorite book is the "Book of Mormon"? Give me a break. Why don't you try reading it then. Your whole blog is just bashing Ed Allen, whom I've known for 26 years.....almost as long as you've been alive!!!!! You don't even know this man. He is the most honest man I know!!!! How dare you. BRENT WALLIS told one of his campaign managers that he must separate church and politics, it's obvious to me that this is what you do as well. Shame on you. It's people like you that turn people away from our church. HYPOCRIT! FYI....Ed Allen has been involved in many community events over the years, not only during an election and certainly NOT for a personal agenda, like many REPUBLICANS I know. "R" does NOT mean RIGHTEOUS! And YES, Mormons can be DEMOCRATS, and SHOULD be on both sides in order to have BALANCE. This is how our country works....unless you want some sort of communist society. Where we ALL must think the same. Where all the REPUBLICANS can sit in their closed door meetings to push their own agendas and pocket books. What I see is a lot of "mormons" hiding behind the church to gain "power" in this state. It makes me sick! At least Ed Allen lives his religion 24-7....not just on Sunday. And he doesn't compromise his integrity for polical reasons, like you have done and like Brent Wallis asks his campaign people to do. I hope you sleep at night, but if you don't, maybe you should pick up that favorite book of yours and read about the Galianton Robbers much like those republicans down at the capital. Those secret combinations are what will bring an end to our great state.
