Returning to the USA, I am excited to start voting again! I never stopped voting while overseas but the process was mechanical and challenging. Finding out about your candidates could be challenging for your local races if you are not there in person. So to now get to read candidate material, meet candidates, and see the process work is exciting!
This week I received my official ballot for Davis County Primary Election. The only item on my ballot is Davis School Board. One may find it this anti-climatic, but I was actually very excited because I get to vote in person!

After watching the video, I felt I better understood the candidates and where they are coming from. All seem very knowledgeable about the challenges in the school district. I feel some of the candidates are extremely motivated by the DOJ Investigation and Federal Lawsuit against Davis County and have a right to be upset due to how devastating the situation has been.
Primary Elections will be on June 28th, 2022. If you are doing a mail-in; it must be postmarked by the 27th.
